Take a look at the job prospect when you make decisions about a career in HR
Although HR is an important and potential industry, students face many difficulties in the process of learning and approach. Let's take a look at the issues that the young in Vietnam faces with while pursuing HR.
HR - "Rare" industry in University training courses:
Vietnamese universities are major in economics focusing on business administration, finance - banking, accounting - auditing... Meanwhile, human resource management seems to be absent in training courses of major universities.
Some universities like National Economics, University of Commerce, University of Internal Affairs, National Academy of Administration.... only have courses training on Administration - Personnel. This shows that HR is still being considered as administrative support – office in Vietnam.
Where to find documents?
With the passion for HR, many young people determine to learn by themselves but have difficulty accessing study materials. Documents on the Internet are just samples of evaluation, time attendance, salary, ... meanwhile, specialized documents are quite scarce. There are already courses of some centers, but the quality and fees of each center lead to the fear of many students. This makes young people who love HR often choose to study abroad, however, this option is not equal to the majority because the cost of training abroad is not cheap.

Degree/ Diploma/ Certificate:
The economic sectors in Vietnam are currently following international standards - the qualification system. Finance – accounting: ACCA, CFA, ICAEW; Business administration: MBA, MCITP or CCIE information technology. However, the field of human resources still lacks similar professional certificates.
Some companies in Viet Nam today require your certificates or diplomas in this field. That’s to say, employees must have a certificate of PHR (Professional in Human Resources). However, many other companies, even the companies in the field of HR outsourcing service, do not consider a degree as a compulsory requirement to begin a career in HR. They can judge your personal characteristics and skills below over qualifications in a paper.
