Apparel Technician

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Development Support

- Support HQ during product development processes including:

+ Prototype development

+ Sample review and follow-up

+ Material lap dip submission and approval

+ Fitting support and technical comments

+ Size set confirmation

- Coordinate closely with factories to ensure development samples meet brand standards and timeline requirements.

- Review garment construction, workmanship, measurements, and fit consistency.

Pre-Production Management

- Follow up pre-production processes including:

+ Commercialization activities

+ Grading review

+ Confirmation sample approvals

+ Pre-production sample evaluation

- Ensure all technical requirements, specifications, and quality standards are clearly communicated and implemented before bulk production.

Production & Quality Monitoring

- Monitor production processes at factories and ensure on-line quality control.

- Identify potential production or quality issues and provide technical solutions promptly.

- Work closely with factory technical and QA teams to maintain product consistency and minimize defects.

- Conduct factory visits when required to support production improvement and troubleshooting.

Communication & Coordination

- Act as the communication bridge between HQ and local factories in Vietnam.

- Provide regular updates on development status, production progress, and technical issues.

- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to product quality and production efficiency.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

- We are looking for apparel technician both in Junior level (1 - 2 years experience) and Senior level (5+ years experience) in:

+ Product development

+ Pre-production

+ Production monitoring

- Experience working with foreign apparel brands is highly preferred.

- Strong knowledge of garment construction, fitting, grading, and apparel production processes.

- Good understanding of factory operations and garment quality standards.

- Good English communication skills, both written and spoken.

- Willingness to travel frequently within Nam Dinh and nearby manufacturing areas.
